WAU February 09, 2016 [Gurtong] - Rajab Hessen Dhayia, who is the
Secretary General of SUNA in Wau State, said that the same should
apply in all the cabinets that will be formed in the different States.

“All these parties participated in the success of South Sudan’s 2011
referendum, therefore SPLM should acknowledge it that these political
parties have full right when it comes to the governing system because
they did enough during the South Sudan’s referendum process,” he said.

“This referendum was not done through guns, it was done through voting
and those who voted were not from SPLM alone, all these parties
participated,” he said.

Rajab also said that other political parties must be included in
conducting rallies to inform the population on the peace agreement
signed between the government and the SPLM-IO.

“There are some elements which are only now done by SPLM party alone.
SPLM is supposed to include all parties, like the current peace
campaign awareness through rallies, we need to be moving together with
the SPLM members to highlight to our people on the present peace
agreement signed. But all these things, it is only SPLM doing it
without including other parties,” he said.

Rajab urged the newly State Governor, Elias Waya to form his cabinet
and not rely on the two appointed County Commissioners, and Wau town
Mayor.

He said formation of the State cabinet would mean delivery of services
to the people and development.
