Imatong Governor Calling For Peace And Reconciliation
"Always, as members of one family, we disagree over an interest and even
fight. That should not be the end. But we always call ourselves to sit down
together and reconcile to resume our daily coexistence among us. What is
the problem if we as South Sudanese citizens start forgiving ourselves?.."

*TORIT, 02 July 2016 [Gurtong] *– The Governor of Imatong State Nartisio
Loluke Manir has appealed to the people in his State to demonstrate love,
unity and peace among themselves.

He is calling for reconciliation and forgiveness in South Sudan so that
development can be achieved.

Addressing a multitude in the State at the SPLM state Secretariat offices
in Torit, last week, the Governor urged his party supporters to push for
durable peace and stability.

"Always, as members of one family, we disagree over an interest and even
fight. That should not be the end. But we always call ourselves to sit down
together and reconcile to resume our daily coexistence among us. What is
the problem if we as South Sudanese citizens start forgiving ourselves? I
want to ask you as my people of Imatong State to hold your hands and hearts
in the spirit of unity and forgiveness. This is only to demonstrate our
love and togetherness as one people of one family who disagreed but
eventually come together to forge forgiveness through reconciliation. It is
possible, do it now," emphasized Loluke.

He also asked the SPLM party to work together through cooperation in order
to achieve better performance of the party and to drive development through
the party's vision and objectives.

He noted that corruption must be fought in the State by all means.

"What we experiencing currently in our country is internal conflict that
needs amicable joining hands to reduce it and stop the great enemy called
corruption."
