Juba police director calls on citizens to cooperate with police to fight
crimes
JUBA (7 Jul.)

The director of police in South Sudan's proposed Jubek state Khamis Shawul
has called on the citizens to cooperate with the police to fight crime in
the country.

Speaking to South Sudan Television (SSTV) on the occasion of Eid Al fitr,
Shawul stressed the importance of stopping crime before it occurs.

“I want all the citizens to cooperate with us by providing us all
information concerning security threats. We also called on the police and
other organized forces to stay alert and do their duties to prevent
crimes,” said Shawul.

He said this requires the citizens to take precautions including by
securing their properties.
