By James Deng Dimo *WAU 09, July 2016 [Gurtong] –*Speaking to Gurtong on Friday, a South Sudan Red Cross official, Kenyi Evance said the children were identified through photographs and phone calls that were made. “We have seen this situation is really very critical where people have been separated, unaccompanied minors and children. We have already found almost 100 in number of unaccompanied minors who are now united with their family members and we also have some elderly people who are also unaccompanied, so these are also people who have been united through phone calls and snap shots we displayed to people who had been separated with their families so that they identify their relatives. And that how we reunited them.” he said. “We also gave free three minute calls to their families whom they have lost but they have their contacts to explain their location such that they are united,” added Evance. Evance said that they will continue to reunite those who are unaccompanied.
