South Sudan loses chess game to Azerbaijan in final round JUBA (14 Sep.) South Sudan has lost to Azerbaijan in Chess Team game competition, taking 176 position in ranking after losing a match to Saudi Arabia by three points in the tenth round of the match. The United States took the second position in ranking , paving way for the gold medal winner in the Chess Olympiad in Azerbaijan since 1976. The African's youngest nation could also not stand the race with Jersey , losing 145 by two and a half points against points in eleventh at the final rounds of the men in open section of Chess Olympiad 42nd , hosted by the Azerbaijan's capital Baku with the participation of 180 teams for men .
