Amer Manyok Deng, who is also a member of the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission, says the victims were three children and two women.Ms Amer says they were among thousands of people who fled insecurity in Yei recently and are camping in Juba Two, a suburb located a few kilometers east of Juba town. She said the IDPs are scattered around Juba but the “majority of people who came from Yei are in Juba Two”.“There also, they are lacking water – clean water, and they are lacking food at all and that’s why they lost three children and two women,” she told Eye Radio. Ms Amer said her group has been engaging with aid agencies to lobby for support and assistance to the IDPs.“They usually call us here and there for their meetings to hear the situation they are in,” she added. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
