Customers of Equity Bank in Juba complain of poor services

JUBA (11 Dec.)

Several customers of Equity Bank in Juba have complained that they are
facing difficulties in cash withdrawal, saying they are unable to withdraw
cash especially US dollars.

The customers told Radio Tamazuj that they went to all branches of Equity
Bank in Juba, but they could not get money. Many clients pointed out that
they want to shift to other banks for better bank services.“I have been
coming to this bank for four weeks to withdraw my salary of last month, but
I could not get it," said one of customers.

Multiple sources from the bank reported high demands of hard currency in
the country, besides the scarcity of the US dollar in South Sudan.
