Nuba refugees at Yida camp express satisfaction with this year’s planting season YIDA (21 Dec.) Thousands of refugees from the Nuba Mountains who are currently living in Yida camp in South Sudan’s Ruweng State said that they have managed to obtain better harvest during this year’s agricultural season. Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, several refugees said that the agricultural season this year is better compared to last year. The refugees pointed out that they are not depending on food rations distributed by humanitarian organizations at the camp. The Nuba refugees downplayed the UN refugee agency’s plan to relocate them to Pamir camp, saying those who were relocated to the new camp couldn’t cultivate in Yida camp and that they are still depending on services provided by the organizations. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
