Heavy shooting causes fear among citizens in Raja town RAJA (7 Mar.) Citizens in Raja town in South Sudan’s Lol state said the sounds of light guns and heavy artilleries were heard near military barracks on Monday morning. Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, several local residents said, the sound of heavy gunfire created fear among citizens and many fled their homes. A resident, who preferred anonymity said yesterday: “This morning, we heard a sound of gunshots in the town but we didn’t know what was happening. The sound was coming from the military barracks and they were pointing it towards the base of the opposition.” Radio Tamazuj was unable to reach local authorities in Raja town to comment on the matter. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
