SPLA vows to punish its members accused of rape JUBA (9 Mar.) All SPLA soldiers detained last week after being accused of raping girls and women in Kuba village, will be convicted in a court of law, a spokesman for the SPLA army said. Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday, Lul Ruai Konag, the SPLA army spokesman, said they arrested the army officer in charge and three other soldiers, adding that they have all been found guilty.He pointed out that the officer in charge was arrested after one of the accused escaped from the prison. Lul also noted that the victims were able to identify their perpetrators, who then confessed.
