A local musician has been murdered in Yei town on Friday night and dumped
at a goats’ selling place. Musema Kaguta commonly known as Lil Jay was
found lifeless on Saturday morning well dressed.

Speaking to Radio Easter, Yei River County Commissioner Denis Lasuba Paul
says the deceased had quarrels over a touch screen telephone and received
live threatening words on Friday evening. The Commissioner condemns the
brutal murder of the young man and calls for proper investigation into the
matter. He says anyone who has a problem with another should take legal
steps than murdering the person.

Meanwhile artists call for investigation into the murder of their colleague
for justice to prevail. They call on the security organs to protect lives
of the innocent civilians remaining in the town. The deceased was an
upcoming artist doing a Boda-boda business in Yei town.
