Bodies of Kenyans killed along Juba-Pibor road arrive home

NAIROBI (3 Apr.)

The bodies of four Kenyans humanitarian workers who were killed in South
Sudan last month have arrived in Nairobi on Saturday, according to Kenyan
media.The four were working for grassroots empowerment and development
organisation, a non-governmental organisation funded by UNICEF.

South Sudan government said the four Kenyan nationals were among six
humanitarian workers killed as they travelled to their base in Pibor town,
northeast of the capital Juba.Reportedly, gunmen stopped them ransacked the
vehicles and shot them dead.South Sudan’s government and rebels led by
former vice first president Riek Machar have denied killing the workers.
