after the signing of bilateral cooperation agreements in Addis Ababa
on 24 February 2017 (ENA Photo)
April 7, 2017 (JUBA) –South Sudan President Salva Kiir Friday
reiterated his commitment and willingness to work with Ethiopia to
deepen their military cooperation, making new contributions to an
in-depth development of bilateral relations.
President Kiir said South Sudan regards the relationship with the
neighbouring country as one of great importance. Over the past years,
the military exchanges between the two countries have resulted in
fruitful achievements for both countries.
The bilateral level of cooperation has enabled the countries to
conduct high-level exchanges, joint military training and defence
consultations.
Kuol Manyang Juuk, the Defence Minister pointed out that strengthening
the military cooperation between South Sudan and Ethiopia was vital in
safeguarding regional peace and stability, regardless of
circumstances.
The minister said South Sudan would stay committed in their efforts to
deepen military exchanges and advance military ties with Ethiopia. He
addressed the press after accompanying the Ethiopian Chief of Defence,
Samora Muhammad Yuni and his delegation to President Kiir.
Flanked by Paul Malong Awan, Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA)
Chief of General Staff, Minister Juuk said the Ethiopian military and
security officials had discussed the memorandum signed between the
Ethiopian army and SPLA at the State House in Juba.
Malong said the discussions were on the memorandum signed by the two
army chiefs of general staff on the provision of security on the
borders between the two countries.
He went on to say that he was appreciative of the role that has been
played by his Ethiopian counterpart, supporting SPLA and the people of
South Sudan during the days where the Sudanese people struggled for
freedom.

Well, we will see if Ethiopia will join other East African nations
to help Dinka JCE, Taban and kiir to kill more innocent Nueri and
equatorian. This war has unbelievable deeds. One can see sudan regime
working on same side with Israel and Uganda against SPLA IO e.g.
Israel training spla in govt In Luri Mt and operating L-39 airplane
that drops chemicals on innocent south Sudanese civilians. cont.

... Sudan is operating Antinov airplane that indiscriminately
bormbes civilian target. And Uganda used to do the ground force that
ruthlessly used to kill and rape innocent people in South Sudan. Egypt
provides lather weapons to South Sudan for years but this year it is
accused of bombing South Sudanese in upper Nile. But Can one imagine
Ethiopia is to do business with South Sudan and Egypt now.

The military cooperation between the two countries will
bring peace into the region. All the borders will be secured, and
there will be no rebel activities between the two nations. The
military cooperation would also strengthen a strong tie and develops
trust between South Sudan and Ethiopia. All the Civilians traveling
will go on with their journey and traveling is going to be much more
secure and peaceful when crossing the borders and all the threats will
be eliminating. That is a good development because all the tribes will
benefit from the improvement of security. Military cooperation is for
the safety and for peace and to develop trust between the two nations
and the citizens of both countries, and it is only for the benefits of
all the civilians of all walk of life and the government.

The use of the word STRENGTHEN is is misplaced here; South Sudan
has nothing to offer. It only stands to GAIN from Ethiopia. The
headline should have been: South Sudan vows to BENEFIT from Ethiopia
military ties!

understand how relationship between nations work or they are denying

South Sudan,
How does Ethiopia need South Sudan when it already has
access to the sea (for international trade). Ethiopia has enough power
for industrialisation, Ethiopia can contain its rebel outfits. Between
South Sudan and Ethiopia, who do you think needs who most? Ethiopia
can do without South Sudan. Ethiopia just wants to protect its
business comminity in South Sudan!!!

Eastern,
For your information, Ethiopia is a lock land
country like South Sudan. It has no access to international sea. Yes,
it has cut deal with a neighbor country to reach ocean, but that alone
is not enough, anything can happen and Ethiopia can be blocked out.
This is why Ethiopia is looking for other options, South Sudan oil
speaks very loud to Ethiopia.

Eastern,
Thank you for the assessment. When the
Kiirminal talks of SS, he usually infers to Equatoria which is the
heart and brains of SS. Other than millions of starving cows, our
"luak jienges" have really nothing to offer. They are seeking
protection cos they in their nature are lazy savages whose livelihood
depends on banditry, cattle rustling and looting. Do you know of any
skills these scoun

Oh Aryan jienge! By the way, if you
came looking for monkey meat for your starving relatives, sorry. We
have alerted even our monkeys and rats to get away from marauding
jiengessavages who kill any living object. But perhaps it us the
bitter pangs of hunger that has made them irrational and idiots. Uh!
They are everywhere MTN like flies.

South South,
Ofcourse SS is like a wretched beggar that should
expect some bread 🍞 crumbs that fall off the Ethiopian tables to land
onto its hands. The Kiirminal has become not only a doormat but an
Ethiopian lapdog to be strengthened and taken care of.

South South,
Equatoria is the heart and brain of SS, while the jienge
junk states represent the the asshole from which shit has to be passed
out. It stinks but a necessary part of the body. It is our duty as
Equatorians to think to keep it clean. Then the ass can’t clean
itself.

Look at this failed MTN tribal leader, why don’t you focus your
efforts and energy on addressing the most pressing issues at hand,
like the famine and the collapsed economy, instead of seeking military
alliances.
Your wishes to cling to power through military supremacy will take
you MTNs to your early graves, sooner or later.
Why kill innocent civilians and terrorise women with gang rape?

Eyez,
Remove that black hat from the Kiirminal and you see the ugly
and organized slashings on his forehead. Remove Equatoria from SS, you
see the nakedness and savagery of the rest jienge junk states.
Ethiopia should just annex them we would have lesser idiots idling
around in Equatoria.
