S Sudan diplomats abroad not paid for six months due to cash crunch JUBA (10 Apr.) The salaries for South Sudan diplomats in foreign missions have not been paid for at least six months, Radio Tamazuj has learned. Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Friday, a top South Sudanese diplomat who preferred anonymity confirmed that diplomats in the diplomatic missions abroad have not been paid for six months because of economic troubles stemming from the ongoing civil war.He pointed out that their families are experiencing deteriorating conditions. However, he said they appreciate great efforts being exerted by the government to resolve the problem.
