By Mabor Riak Magok YIROL, 29 April 2017 [Gurtong]-Speaking during the closing remark on Thursday, the Commissioner of Yirol East County, Mager Anyuon Thuc said the peace dialogue concluded with three major resolutions. These includes; • Establishing a police administrative unit at the border point in order to combat cattle raiding and random killing of innocent people • Opening up a common border trading center between Eastern Lakes State and Southern Liech State in order to bring the members of conflicting communities together • Fixing water points which connects both communities and deploy police personnel as well as empowering the peace interlocutors to deliver the message of peace effectively. The HACO field officer, Isaac Magual John highly appreciated the participants for attending the dialogue peacefully and unanimously come up with resolutions which he said will be forwarded to the senior management. Meanwhile, Ciec Youth Chairman, Daniel Marial Mathiang reiterated that the youth should lay down thier guns and use peace dialogue as a means of facing each other instead of physical confrontation.
