UN agencies misinformed about hunger in Yei, says Bishop Radio EasterMonday, May 8, 2017 - 17:04
The United Nation and World Food Programme are deceived about hunger in Yei, says Catholic Bishop of Yei. Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says humanitarian aid workers should not be deceived to tell people that there is food in Yei, Radio Easter reports. Thieves stole the food in the market from people’s garden and sold to citizens, he adds. Humanitarian’s organization should not to be deceived by what is in the market, but should listen to the authorities, the Bishop points out. He cautions humanitarian agencies not to become a cause of starvation of the people in Yei. The Bishop cautions foreigners against buying food in Yei to go and sell in other parts. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
