Fighting is increasing in Upper Nile and Jonglei regions, forcing big
numbers of people to Aburoc village, says the head of UN Mission in
South Sudan or UNMISS.

David Shearer expresses concerns on the difficult conditions IDPs face
including lack of food and water.

There about 40 thousand people and UNMISS has flown peacekeeping force
to the area, the Special Representative told the press on Thursday in
Juba.

Shearer says UNMISS is supporting the government to bring peace in
Pibor and Bor where there is deteriorating security situation.

UNMISS base in Leer area had been under attack for one hour last week
and investigation still ongoing, the UNMISS chiefs discloses.

About 40 people died and 17 injured in the last week attack on
Juba-Bor road, Shearer notes.
