Sudanese BADR Airlines Launches First Flight To Wau

The Sudanese BADR airlines EK73775, a passenger’s jet in collaboration with
South Sudanese Aloor Company launched its first flight to Wau on Monday.

WAU, 15 May 2017 [Gurtong] -

 BADR airlines had been operating directly between Wau and Khartoum since
2004 but halted its operations in 2011 following the independence of the
South from the North.

The flight will be taking passengers from Wau to Juba as it proceeds to
Khartoum.Wau State Governor, Andrea Mayar Acho was at Wau airport to
witness the first landing of BADR airlines.

Acho described BADR airlines services as good relationship between Sudan
and South Sudan.“When I saw BADR airlines landing in Wau town with the
passengers and others waiting now to travel to Juba and from Juba to
Khartoum, this is a good gesture between the two countries and it’s a
success for BADR airlines and Aloor,” said Acho.

The Deputy Director of BADR airlines, Mohamed Al Fadir said “We are ready
to offer all services that the citizens of South Sudan need from BADR
airlines,” said Fadir.

According to Aloor Company Director, Marop Morwiel Aayii, passengers
boarding the flight from Wau to Juba will pay 15, 250 SSP per sit and will
be operating between Wau to Juba and Khartoum every Monday and Friday
weekly.
