WFP in Wau did not provide food ratios for two months, says
CEPOCRNThursday, May 25, 2017 - 16:57

World Food Program or WFP did not provide food ratios to IDPs in Wau for
two months now, complains Community for Empowerment for Progress
Organization or CEPO Coordinator.

Stephen Robo Musa says the displaced people out of UNMISS camps are
collecting firewood to maintain their families.

Coordinator of Wau Catholic Diocese, Fr Moses Peter, emphasizes that WFP
distributes half amount of the food based on its assessment.

An IDP says she cannot complain because she is in need of help from WFP and
just pray for the situation when she does not get assistance.

The number of IDPs reduced after the situation in Wau improved following
the deployment of security agents to various areas in the state.
