SPLA-IO general denies joining national dialogue in Imatong SPLA-IO General Patrick Ohiti has denied that he accepted to join Kiir’s national dialogue, affirming his continuing loyalty to Riek Machar.
This comes after government officials in Imatong, one of South Sudan’s newly created states, said the armed opposition under the overall command of General Patrick Ohiti accepted in principle to join the national dialogue. Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, Gen. Ohiti said that none of his forces have joined the opposition.“This is not true. This is the governments’ allegation and propaganda. There is nothing like that. No soldiers under my command that have joined the government, I am in the opposition and I am with my forces,” said Ohiti. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
