Hundreds of displaced people who are currently sheltering inside the
Catholic Church compound in Wau said they are experiencing harsh
humanitarian conditions due to shortages of food for nearly two months.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Thursday, several displaced persons said the
International Organization for Migration (IOM) has cut their food ration,
adding that there is no food distribution for the last two months at the
camp.

They further said the IOM changed their food ration cards. The complaining
families pointed out that that they are now suffering because they cannot
afford to buy food items at the market.

Radio Tamazuj could reach IOM officials to comment on the matter.
