Ministry of Petroleum invites companies to invest in oil sector Radio BakhitaSaturday, June 10, 2017 - 16:32
The Minster of Petroleum says the government has invited more foreign oil companies to invest in South Sudan. As Radio Bakhita reports, Ezikiel Lol Gatkouth says the government seeks to increase oil production by opening up new blocks. He says they are in talks with several oil companies that have expressed interest in South Sudan’s oil sector. South Sudan depends only on oil revenue, but production has been affected by the civil war and the fall in global oil prices. Oil production has reduced from over 300 thousand barrels, to less than 130 thousand barrels per day after December 2013 violence. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
