this Tuesday, June 20 with the filmmakers and a chance to experience the
award-winning film being screened at AFI:DOCS and festivals around the
world. Human Rights Watch's Skye Wheeler will moderate the discussion with
Ryan Boyette (in town from the Nuba Mountains) and Trevor
Snapp (co-director of the film).

The film is a story about four people - a journalist, student, mother, and
soldier - who have stayed behind, in war. Nuba Reports and Emblematic Group
co-produced this film (in association with The New York Times, AJ+ and
Arte) to bring the Nuba Mountains - a region cut off from outsiders - to
the outside world.

*Where: *WeWork | 1342 Florida Avenue NW (near the U Street metro)
