Canada allocates 36.9 million Dollars for women development

The government of Canada is allocating 36.9 million Canadian Dollars
for women development to empower them and humanitarian assistance in
the country, says Minister of International Development and
Francophone.

Marie-Claude Bibeau notes that she met with local women organizations
to plan on how to boost development in various sectors.

The minister expresses that their focus is peace, security and
gender-based violence by training women to make a difference in peace
process.

The official stresses that women should be given opportunity to
practice their capability in development.

The minister spoke on Friday during her visit to Juba on development issues.
