Crime: Gunmen kill military intelligence officer in Luri A military intelligence office was shot and killed by unknown gunmen while riding a motorcycle to his duty station in Luri area last Tuesday, several relatives said.
The incident took place around 5:00 pm and the perpetrators managed to escape with the motorcycle.The relatives told Radio Tamazuj on Monday that the funeral rite of the deceased was conducted on Sunday in the capital, Juba. It appears to be the second attack targeting people along the road from Juba to Mundri.Last week, unknown gunmen stopped two commercial vehicles traveling from Juba to Mundri area.
