Michael Makuei accuses some NGOs of fuelling South Sudan conflict File photo: Michael Makuei
South Sudan’s minister of information Michael Makuei Lueth has accused some international NGOs of investing in the ongoing civil war in the world’s youngest nation. Makuei told Radio Tamazuj on Thursday that some organizations are writing false reports about South Sudan with the intention of portraying that there is no peace in the country, yet they are gaining from the on-going war. Makuei, who is also the government spokesman, pointed out that the implementation of the 2015 peace agreement is going on well and that there is no threat. Makuei claimed that the situation in the country is contrary to the reports being produced by the international humanitarian organizations that he did not name. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
