(REUTERS) South Sudan’s rebels loyal to former first vice president Riek Machar announced Friday the capture of Bamurie and Jalie areas in Kajo-keji County after allegedly clashing with government troops. SPLA-IO deputy military spokesperson Paul Lam Gabriel told Radio Tamazuj on Friday that their forces managed to capture Bamurie and Jalie areas and killed dozens of government soldiers. He admitted that three soldiers were killed and five others were wounded from their side. Radio Tamazuj could not independently verify Lam’s claim. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
