About 400 families fleeing violence between Gogrial’s Apuk and Aguok
communities have arrived to the disputed Abyei region since the
violence started last month, local officials said.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, Abyei leaders said the displaced people are
camping east of Agok town.

Abyei Chief Administrator, Kuol Alor, visited the camp on Saturday to
assess the humanitarian situation of the displaced, and to invite
humanitarian aid agencies to the area.
