DAL PET fuel station on Thursday evening exploded in Wau because of
the puncture on the tank.

Samuel Andrew Ladugo, Operation Manager of the Company, says the
station has 139 thousands liters of fuel and that high temperature was
the cause of explosion, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

Many citizens came to take fuel, but the company called the national
security agents to control because it was a risk to their lives,
Andrew explains.

Peter Upieu Titkuei, Minister of Infrastructure and Urban Planning,
who visited the scene describes that explosion as a big lost to the
company.

Good enough there was no life lost and belongings of those near to
fuel station, he adds.

The minister advises citizens not to use matches near the place of the
incident because it can cause danger to their properties and the
company.

He also urges drivers not to buy cheap fuel these days because it is not good.

This is the second time DAL PET Company exploded in Wau, causing a great lost.
