SPLA says no general was killed by armed Opposition in Kaya CRN Tuesday, September 5, 2017 - 10:31 The SPLA Spokesperson says there was no general killed in Kaya, Yei River State on Saturday last week as published by Ugandan Newspaper.
Brigadier General Lul Ruai Koang says New Vision Newspaper reported late August that an SPLA General called Malisi Atiem Ring Deng, was shot and died from his wounds in Uganda. He argues that there is no officer by names Malisi Atiem Ring Deng in the records of the SPLA. The Spokesperson adds that no wounded soldiers of SPLA were taken to Uganda for treatment, but all were uplifted to the Military Hospital in Juba. Brigadier General Ruai cautions the public against believing in SPLA in opposition propaganda.
