Commander requests organized forces enlightened on importance of peace Radio Voice of Hope Wednesday, September 6, 2017 - 16:07 Commander of Division Five in Wau State urges the government to give awareness to soldiers and citizens about the importance of peace and stability in the country.
Major General Michael Majur Alier explains that sensitizing the soldiers will make them carry out their duties well, Radio Voice of Hope reports. He urges political leaders to resolve their differences through dialogue without using violence. Major General Majur regrets the situation of citizens in UN camps and calls for charges to those who caused the suffering of civilians. Providing security is joint responsibility of the government and citizens in the state, the officer points out. He asks civil society organizations, religious leaders and the chiefs to disseminate peace messages at all levels so that people participate in the national dialogue. Majur believes South Sudan will soon witness sustainable peace and stability in the country. The speaker made the call in the meeting at the military base on Monday. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
