Hunger should not be the reason for you to leave the country, Imagong
state Minister of Information tells South Sudanese.

Jacob Atari Albano says South Sudan is a fertile land for agricultural
activities and can produce enough food for everyone’s consumption.
Radio Emmanuel reports.

Minister Atari stresses that citizens should not always depend on food
aid from other nations.

The Minister calls on people to fight hunger through what he termed as
“massive agricultural activities” to avoid dependency

Atari pledges to support any organized group of farmers who are ready
to engage in farming. He says with help of other partners the
government shall offer the needed support.

The Minister was talking to the media during the launching of the
Torit Peace Mega Network farm over the weekend in Torit. It is a youth
initiative to fight hunger in the state.
