US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday his administration was
deeply disturbed by violence in South Sudan and Democratic Republic of
Congo.

He told a lunch with African leaders on the sidelines of the UN
General Assembly that the US administration is closely monitoring the
ongoing conflict in South Sudan and Congo.

Trump pointed out that he would send his UN Ambassador Nikki Haley to
Africa to discuss conflict prevention.
