I friend of mine ask me about what can be a problem to measure the variation of water level in a small river with tensiometers. He wants to install an automatic station with tensiometers to measure water potential and also some tensiometers in this river to measure the water level. I don�t remeber to see this use of tensiometer probably it is not suitable for that ... someone could explain better.
