In the "calm before the storm" I'm setting up a Soya-news aggrigate
using the popular (and python-powered) Planet software.

  http://planet.soya3d.org/

If you have a blog (or newsfeed from your blog) specifically for Soya
dev or Soya-based game/app dev drop me an email with your RSS/Atom/etc
newsfeed url and your photo (64x96 PNG w/ transparent bg preferred) and
I'll get you added.

I especially suggest this as a way for students to let everyone know
about their progress. Last year's SoC had many students doing so. The
student interface should let you set your blog url there as well, and
Google's blogger.com interface is a great place to set it up (and free).

Also, as a reminder (THIS SUNDAY!):

I'm calling an IRC meeting on May 21st, 20:00UTC - 21:00UTC in #SoyaMeet.

This is a "welcome" meeting for all active developers and Summer of Code
mentors/students to meet and discuss the upcomming three months.

There are no decidions being made, no "agenda", just students explaining
their projects to each other and discussing ways they can work together.

In some cases, this will also be the first chance for mentors to chat
with their student(s).

I think it's important for everyone to "meet" each other prior to
starting this 13 week coding insanity which 6 students will start 5/22.
