Well, Google has suprised us. We expecte 70, we got 25. We may get more than 25 (these are initial numbers) but no more than 30 total.
See my last entry on http://planet.soya3d.org/ for details. There are 5 Soya proposals hovering around the #25 marker. We will likely have to choose 2-3 of them. This will not be an easy decidion for us - all of the proposals have been excellent. A large part of which proposals are approved will be detirmined by student interest and enthusiasm. The remaining proposals are by: Alexander Buck David Pierre-Yves Karl Pietrzak Palle Raabjerg Robert Chuvala Not getting your proposal approved is not the end of it. There's a pool of bounty money growing for various tasks to pay developers to complete certain features we've been seriously in need of. It won't be anywhere near $4500 but it will be enough to fund key mini-projects this Summer.
