Hi all,
I do not participate to IRC meetings, because I am not a contributor but just
a simple user (a new one), so I am just registered to the "soya-user" mailing
list".
I just want to say that from my "external" point of view of the discussion,
the rationale behind the fork is not well-understood.
As I do not know the details, I do not want to make any comment, except that I
do not like that the public "separation web page", seems more a personal
attack than a neutral and factual explanation of the fork.
So I am sad, because IMHO, the project is missing a great opportunity :
- Jiba seems to be a good fellow with a great vision, that have given a
lot
for soya3D (which is a great product with a good licence and an existing
community).
- ark seems to come with dvpt enablers (with excellent soc support idea
and
good proposal with track tool).
I hope that pysoy and soya will share as much as possible, and will try to
maintain common technical roots...
Regards
Jacques Rebourcier (sorry for my poor english)
