Howdy, I did some minor changes to soya yesterday on ubuntu and compiled them without any problems. Today I wanted to add these changes on my windows and after long fighting I managed to get it to compile (without modifying the Soya source yet).
And one problem came up that I just don't understand: If I call "set_material_layer" or "set_material_layer_angle" on a terrain python will crash. I've done no changes on the subversion source. Does anyone have a slight idea why this would happen? Wrong libraries while compiling? I've found no other thing that would make the crash happen (ran quickly through the basic tutorials, they all worked except for buggy (failed on some other reason) and land-1 (crashed, worked after removing material layers.)) I know many of you don't even use Soya on windows, but still, it's worth trying.
