It will rely on external tools. I think making a BSP compiler is too much work for me. And anyway GtkRadiant is free and it look like a good tool. I think it would be easyer to modify GtkRadiant (it has a plugin system or something like that) so it works better with soya. For example it would be cool to be able to import soya object in GtkRadiant as entity.

I don't know SketchUp. I remember I red something on the Ogre 3D wiki about how to make a BSP with blender, it's probably doable with other modeling tools. Tell me if you decide to work on this, I'm interrested. I know that lots of people who make levels with generic 3D software favor Octree to BSPtree because an Octree compiler is much easyer to do than a BSP compiler.
