K'Tael had said nothing about during the discussion between Uglara and Tom.
It was not his place, even though it greatly affected his ability to get
information he needed. The sad thing is that he trusted Uglara more than he
did Tom. He would really hate to lose her.
"Ms. Uglara, I will see what I can do about our agreement. I do not think
that you have given me enough information to clear all the charges, but I
will try. I would like you to continued to be involved in this matter if it
is at all possible. You are proving to be a valuable resource for me and my
staff. I can promise you that if you help us crack this case open, you will
be in the clear."
"That is what I like to hear Commander. A willingness to serve....
Although it is making me very nervous to be helping Starfleet, the effect on
my reputation and all, the possibility of some of my charages being ereased
is definately worth some risk. I will continue for now, Commander." she
replied.

"See... I told you he would be willing to work with you. All it
takes is patience and an open mind. This Starfleet Commander is not like the
others we have dealt with. Tis one can think outsideof regulations on
occassion." Tom replied.

K'Tael could not help but growl at the comment. He was completely within
plea bargain regulations, and his honor would not stand for such a statement.
He quickly got his Klingon temper under control before he tried to take a
swing at Tom and turned to Uglara. "Would it be possible to get a copy of
your recordings. It would help me in the case and in any argument I could
make on your behalf."
(response)
"Could you tell me a little about this other lead you have?"
