Perhaps Bran'na was right, she reflected as she stepped into Sam's arms, 
maybe she did need companionship. Something relaxed in her when she felt 
protected by someone, even if it was a short-lived thing.  She wondered 
about this mysterious man, too.  She had not quite pinpointed why he looked 
familiar - and what really drove a man like this to hide in a dark bar? - 
but she knew she had never met him before.

Tossing all worries to the wind - after all, he was risking more by being 
with her than she was with him, and he didn't seem to mind - she let herself 
get drawn in. "This is nice," she murmured.
