"The Anti-Corruption Task Force falls under JAG, but I am curious if any of
the information Captain Boulay and Commander K'Tael have gathered may tie in
with your work. If this could help either of your tasks in the smallest way
it is progress."

"Aye, sir." Joe replied

He looked at David.

"Admiral, we are getting very close to breaking several cases and Commander
Garibaldi and I have ben comparing notes often."

He turned to K'Tael, "Commander?"

"While I must agree that the circumstances of this case make it clearly a
local issue, this morning's report makes it clear that the press, and
possibly now the public, view this incident as being part of the black side
of Starfleet.  Even if only to help assuage these thoughts and to deal with
the situation quickly, I think it is important that the Anti-Corruption Task
Force be involved."

The Klingon paused for a moment before continuing.  "To make matters worse,
my staff has a workload that far acceeds there numbers.  I have already had
to ask the assistance of personnel from other departments to assist on those.
I am not sure how quickly my people will be able to resolve the situation
concerning the good doctor."

K'Tael was not one to admit defeat, but in this case it seemed to be the
wiser thing to do.  More was involved than just his own personal pride if
justice was to be served.
