Matt looked outwardly calm, but wound, and intense. Not like he was about
to break open.
He actually felt calmer than he had an hour ago. He knew this was bullshit.
If Renaud had a brain - and Matt felt certain that he did - then he had to
know it, too. Matt worried that Renaud felt Matt wasn't what he claimed to
be, but he also felt sure he wasn't blindly suspecting him of everything.
He worried for Carrahe most of all. Their relationship was about to not be
so secret. Perhaps they should have come in separately. Too late to think
about that now.
