SPD: DOC/m'rrenn/Renaud/K'Tael/Carrhae

     Lorin got up and walked around his desk to lean on the corner of it
when he noticed more movement than usual out of the corner of his eye in
Ops...just then as he had asked for, the computer chimed in.
      <<CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER DR MATTHEW BRENNAN HAS ARRIVED ON SPACEDOCK
AND IS IN OPERATIONS>>
      He thanked the computer, "I think we need to talk to the doctor
immediately." He said to the Security Chief, "I don't feel a need to place
him under arrest until we have viable proof....your thoughts Commander?"

The Klingon nodded.  "Sir, you can be sure that I agree.  If we had
considered Dr. Brennan a likely culprit in the attack on the Admiral, we
would have at least brought him in for questioning before now.  The more we
can do to prevent the press from carrying this further, the better."  K'Tael
paused before continuing.  "How would you like to approach the interview?"

      "I'll open it and then you can continue...I am going to tell him that
neither myself or David or you approved the information in the news story."

K'Tael nodded again.  "I agree that that would be a good idea, sir.  We do
not want the good doctor to think that we are a part of this witch hunt.  We
are going to need his trust and assistance if we are going to be able to help
him."

      He opened his door and walked out with K'Tael, "Doctor Brennan, I've
been expecting you." He then noticed Carrhae <What was she doing with him?>,
"Admiral t'Llhweiir. I would also like some time with you. With all due
respect to yourself and to the situation, the Commander and I must talk to
each of you exclusively, beginning with the Doctor. Dr Brennan, please..."
      He motioned him into his office. He was being very careful to show the
Doctor it was a request and not an order or an attempt to arrest him.

      He looked at M'rrenn, "No interruptions unless absolutely necessary
please."
      "Understood sir."� M'Rrenn replied.
      He walked back into the office following the two in, walked around at
his desk and waited until the other two sat before he did, "Doctor, thank you
for coming back so quickly."
