(ooc: the gm informed me that y'toi had to be a member of sf, so she is.
we are still negotiating her rank.)
Y'Toi was busy fending off reporters when her computer access blinked with
an incoming call. She smiled when she saw the sender. Obviously, things
had been bumped up the chain.
As usual, she routed it, unread, to her boss.
Later, t'Llhweiir had finally had time to reach her office. The shadows
had had their work cut out for them as the reporters had plagued them all
the way. There had been no comments from her regarding the investigation
or her reactions to accusations against Brennan.
(ooc: more about this depending on whether they leave Ops together.)
When the door closed between her and the rest of the universe, she closed
her eyes and took several deep breaths. Finally, she sat at her desk and
read first the day's intel report and then through her mail. She was
grateful for an assistant who could reliably weed out the junk and
prioritize the rest. Very high up was the message:
> To: VADM t'Llhweiir

She quickly glanced at her schedule and sent the following reply:
To: VADM Kitanya
From: ADM t'Llhweiir
Re: Strike teams
If it would be convenient for you, we can talk over dinner this evening in
the lounge.
Once the message was gone, she sat back thought about the way the day had
gone. Then, she opened a private access that she had created herself so
that it would be nearly impossible to break into. In fact, on the second
incorrect attempt, the system would irretrievably purge every reference
to that access. "Computer, update all documents for identities A through
J."
(response?)
She had very much enjoyed her life in Star Fleet and in the Federation.
But she had also learned from her years in the Tal Shiar that she must
always have an escape plan. Over the years, she had developed several.
With all the technology now available, it was extremely difficult to
"disappear" and successfully create a new personality. Unless you knew
exactly how, and she did.
Now, all she could do was to try to maintain as much normalcy as possible.
