As he viewed the footage something became clear to him... No one
had entered the holodeck other than the Admiral, and her guard had not died.
Not until just before the calvery got there. That was just not right.... so
he ran an intensive analysis of the footage, and...
Someone had edited the footage, and copied a segment several times
onto the recording. Thus hiding the attack on the guard. The main slip up
was that the time indexes were not quite right. They were off only
slightly, but enouth for him so be suspicious. By all means it was a
professional job, a hurried one, but none the less professional. If the
attacker had had another few minutes, the trail would have been impossible
to find. The attacker had hacked the security recordings AND the holodeck
programming with the skill of a grand master programmer- or one that had a
really good worm program...
