"Computer, bring up all surveillance footage taken from around the
holodeck where Admiral t'Llthweir was attacked. Include footage from all
nearby corridors. Highlight any footage that includes women."
As he viewed the footage something became clear to him... No one had
entered the holodeck other than the Admiral, and her guard had not died. Not
until just before the calvery got there. That was just not right.... so he
ran an intensive analysis of the footage, and...
Someone had edited the footage, and copied a segment several times
onto the recording. Thus hiding the attack on the guard. The main slip up
was that the time indexes were not quite right. They were off only slightly,
but enouth for him so be suspicious. By all means it was a professional job,
a hurried one, but none the less professional. If the attacker had had
another few minutes, the trail would have been impossible to find. The
attacker had hacked the security recordings AND the holodeck programming with
the skill of a grand master programmer- or one that had a really good worm
program...
K'Tael tapped his comm badge. "K'Tael to Ops. Have a computer programming
specialist meet me in my office."
(response)
K'Tael picked up his PADD and downloaded the footage he had just
viewed and attached his notes before picking up and heading to his office in
Security. He waited for the specialist.
While he was waiting, he decided to access some of the computer
informaition. "Computer, please bring up the following information available
on Admiral Brennan and his wife, who is listed as being MIA. I would like a
listing of all their assignments and a listing of any names that are common
among their official reports. Cross-reference this list with the Starfleet
database and provide current status of the person named." K'Tael was looking
for someone who would have a motive against Dr. Brennan, and this secret life
of his seemed like a viable possibility for someone with a grudge.
(response)
"Also do the same for Admiral t'Llthweir and provide a list of names that are
common among her reports with the previous search parameters stated for Dr.
Brennan and his wife." Considering this was the second (?) attack on the
Romulan Admiral, there was a good chance that she was more than just a random
choice for the victim.

(OOC: Ok, before you have a heart attack. Only give me names that would be
pertinent ... and anything you want to throw me off the track. =)! Or you
could just have the station's mainframe crash!)
