Audra stepped through the entrance and made her way into the office.

K'Tael looked up from his desk. It had been a busy day and a great deal of
it seemed to revolve around Dr. Brennan. First it had been the interview
and
then the incident in the botanical Gardens. "Ahhh, Commander Firehawk, what
can I do for you?"

"Thank you for seeing me, K'Tael. It has to do with the case you had asked
me and Admiral Izata to work on. I think that I have come to an important
conclusion."

K'Tael's eyebrow raised. Audra's comment interested him, especially
considering how the day had been going so far. "Continue," he said as he
nodded.

"Well, I think that the bombing of the shuttle was arranged by someone in
the
Venasian government. After talking to Admiral Lasiter, it was brought to my
attention that there was a split in the Venasian government. A group that
does not want an agreement with the Federation."

K'Tael was even more intrigued by the comment. Admiral D'amondra seemed to
work so well with Admiral Lasiter he doubted that the Venasians could be
split. Besides, most Venasians seemed to get along fairly well with
everyone
on the station. They were private, but he never had to deal with any
Venasians besides D'amondra's sister when he was on-duty. His doubt was
evident on his face.

"I can understand your doubt, but a report from Intell that I came across as
well as some supporting research has made it clear that the bomb on the
shuttle was made from Venasian explosives, which are quite difficult to come
across without the required clearance. I think that it might be General
A'amon."

What about the fact that a Venasian is not allowed to harm another?"

"I thought the same thing after a meeting with Ambassador D'amondra. She
had
said that no Venasian could harm another according to their cultural
beliefs.
What I am suggesting is that A'amon got someone else to do the crime. He
only thought up the idea. Credits can get you pretty far with some people."

K'Tael considered her accusation. "Do you have any idea who A'amon might be
involved with on the station?)

"I think that it might have been the senior specialist who worked on the
shuttle before it was launched. It came to my attention during an interview
with the staff that there is an extreme shortage of staff in the docking
area. As a result, he was the only one working on the shuttle. He
definitely had the time, and I have a feeling that he is not quite the pure
Starfleet employee. He was not exactly forthcoming in our interview."

K'Tael had to admit that Audra's statements seemed to make sense. The next
step was to bring the specialist in. He tapped in a warrant to bring the
specialist in and handed the PADD to Audra (OOC: Who gives out warrents on
a spacestation?)

    {OOC: either a judge or JAG- if you have really good probable cause}

"I want you to bring this guy in for questioning. The questioning is going
to be done here in Security. I want a guard with you when you go to pick
him
up. I would also suggest that you contact the Venasian Ambassador's office
and request that someone from their office be there as a legal consultant.
If we are going into this, I don't want the Federation to be the only one
involved. We could be accused of racism, and that is the last thing we need
right now."

{OOC: btw, if you bring in Starfleet personnel you do not need the
Venasian Ambassador. A lawyer if he/she/it want one, of course. Now if you
try to bring in General A'amon you will need permission from the Venasian
Embassy, as he has diplomatic immunity, and you would probably want to
involve someone at SF Command as well. Could be very big trouble if you
don't.  But those are just my thoughts...  CS}
