Subject: Re: Can You Unsplice Digital Footage?

He waited for the computer specialist to arrive and help him with the adapted
video recordings.

A moment or two later she walked in.  "Commander, I am Specialist Shavitz.
 You requested a surveillance tech?"

The Klingon nodded his head.  "Come over here, Shavitz," said the Klingon as
he waved the specialist over his desk.  "Take a look at this and tell me what
you see."
K'Tael played the video he had viewed earlier that he believed had been
played around with by the woman who attacked Admiral t'Llthweir.

        The tech studied the recording.  "It looks doctored, sir.  It is a good job, and a darned good one at that..  it looks like whom ever did this was rushed a bit.  I say that because we can tell that it was a splice job.  Normally something fom this quality of being would be impossible to detect.  Do you mind if I try something on the terminal, Sir?"

        {response- assuming no troubles...}

The tech tapped a few keys and such...  "Don't worry Commander.  I am not hacking the system, just checking for backups.  There may be backups that I do not have access to, and since we are in Admiral Renaud's office I just thought that there may be one we could get at."

    {response}

A few seconds later it was found, and displaying on the screen.  "I found this secret recording.  It is from intell.  Looks like the intell chief had some secret recording devices put up to record her movements.  just in case.  Good thing....."  the tech said as they both looked at the recording.

        The new recording clearly showed the attack on the guard and the entry to the holodeck by a woman that appeared to be romulan.
