"Of course," t'Llhweiir said tightly.� She looked up and met T'Kael's
eyes.� "Might I ask why you are only now reaching this point in your
investigation?"
While it had been long in Klingon tradition to view Romulans as spineless
creatures who used deception to get what they wanted, K'Tael felt quite
uncomfortable under the Admiral's stare. It would have been very effective
to have in battle.
"To be honest, sir. I had checked the tapes earlier and had not noticed a
slight variation to indicate that the footage had been tampered with at that
time. After our meeting this morning, I decided to go back to the basics
with the hopes of taking the knowledge I had from the meeting to find
something else. That is when I noticed the variation."
